General ও Common শব্দের প্রয়ােগগত পার্থক্য কী?

সাধারণত সকল ব্যক্তি, স্থান বা বস্তুর ক্ষেত্রে সাধারণ, সর্বজনীন বা স্বাভাবিক অর্থে Adjective হিসেবে general, natural বা normal ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন The country arranged a general election. Wanting to win is a natural urge. Normal babies are born with two eyes. অন্যদিকে অধিকাংশের ক্ষেত্রে সাধারণ বা প্রায় ঘটে অর্থে Adjective হিসেবে common, usual বা typical ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন: The crow is a common bird in Bangladesh. My usual lunch is a ham sandwich Getting in trouble is typical of a kid like that.
